Welcome back to South Korea. This bespoke journey has been crafted to balance rigorous Kumdo training with the deep cultural immersion of the Joseon Dynasty and the volcanic wonders of Jeju Island.
From the neon-lit streets of Seoul to the coastal serenity of Boryeong, you will train with masters, forge your own silver, and settle into authentic local life.

Day by Day
10 Days of Training & Exploration
Welcome to South Korea! Upon arrival into Incheon Airport, you will be met by your private driver and transferred to your airport hotel near Gimpo Airport for a restful evening.
Accommodation: Marina Bay Hotel (Gimpo) or similar
Transfer to Gimpo Airport for your morning flight to Jeju. Upon arrival, meet your local guide to begin exploring South Korea's largest island.
Visit Hallim Park to see lava-formed caves and subtropical gardens. Hike the coastal trail at Mt Songaksan (approx 1.3km) for panoramic ocean views, then marvel at the hexagonal basalt columns of the Jusangjeolli Cliff.

Start your day at Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the scenic coastal area of Seopjikoji for a coastal walk (1.5 hrs).
Visit Gwangchigi Beach to see unique lava rock beds. As the Haenyeo Museum is closed on Mondays, we will instead visit the Seongeup Folk Village to experience the authentic traditional lifestyle of Jeju.

Transfer to Jeju Airport for your flight to Cheongju. Upon arrival, transfer to Sejong to visit the Goryeo Sword Forge. Founded by martial arts practitioners, this facility is dedicated to preserving Korea’s sword-making heritage.
Participate in a Silver Ring making workshop before continuing to Taean to tour the Anmyeondo Forest. Arrive in Boryeong and settle in.

After breakfast, transfer to the Cutting Farm for your first workshop. Later, visit Sudeoksa Temple, one of Korea’s oldest temples founded during the Baekje Kingdom, housing magnificent national treasures.

Complete a morning cutting farm workshop before the comfortable transit back to Seoul (approx. 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, explore Mangwon Market and the youthful district of Hongdae.

Morning is reserved for training. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of Korea before hiking along Namsan Dulle-gil to the N Seoul Tower Observatory. Conclude the day with free time in the Myeongdong shopping district.

Depart early for Paju and the DMZ, a symbolic region of conflict and hope. Glide over the Imjin River on the Paju Gondola and visit the Odusan Unification Tower Observatory for a rare glimpse into North Korean villages and farmlands.
End your day with a Korean Pork BBQ dinner at a local restaurant.

Enjoy a free morning in Incheon. This afternoon, depart for an incredible cooking class experience to mark your final night. Create a multi-course meal featuring Korean Pancakes, Bulgogi, and Banchan before enjoying the fruits of your labour.

Enjoy free time until your scheduled transfer to Incheon Airport. Depart South Korea with honed skills and forged memories.
