Altura DMC Partners

Altura is a B2B representation firm based in Australia. We act as the local representative for a curated portfolio of owner-operated Destination Management Companies (DMCs) from around the world, specifically serving the Australian and New Zealand travel trade.

Think of us as your dedicated, Australian-based destination desk. We handle the vetting, the introductions, and the ongoing support so you can focus on designing incredible trips for your clients.

No. We are an independent representation platform. We do not hold inventory, nor do we add margins to DMC pricing.

We provide the connection, the assurance, and the operational support, while the commercial transaction and contracting remain directly between your agency and the ground operator. This ensures you always receive direct B2B NETT pricing.

Global Platform & Tools

The Altura Global platform is your command centre for destination management. It moves beyond a simple directory to centralise operational due diligence, financial tools, and briefing resources.

It is designed exclusively to support professional travel designers and wholesalers by providing a transparent, efficient environment for risk management and project planning.

The platform provides verified trade partners with access to four primary operational pillars:

  • DMC Vetting Index: Access complete compliance dossiers focusing on critical risk management data, including Public Liability Insurance (PLI), health and safety protocols, and local operating registrations.
  • Destination Discovery Guides: Strategic intelligence mapping climate windows, minimum lead times, and routing logistics for complex regions.
  • DMC Project Builder: A dedicated briefing tool that helps you generate professional, fully-scoped project briefs. By selecting a partner and inputting your client requirements, the tool produces a structured request that eliminates back-and-forth emails.
  • Financial Toolkit: A strategic guide providing insights and automated resources regarding foreign currency hedging, designed to help you navigate exchange rate volatility and protect your booking margins.

Commercials & Workflows

No. You receive the exact same NETT B2B rates as booking direct with the DMC.

Altura represents our partners to provide brand awareness, credibility, and market growth within the ANZ trade. This arrangement allows us to provide local representation and platform access at no additional cost to you.

Payments are executed directly to the DMC partner. Quoting and invoicing currencies (typically USD, EUR, or local currency) are decided between you and the operator to suit your operational needs.

Methods are determined between the two partners and generally include secure global payment platforms (which we can assist with via our Financial Toolkit) or direct telegraphic transfers. Altura does not intercept payments or add margins to the pricing.
