Altura is a B2B representation firm based in Australia. We act as the local representative for a curated collective of owner operated Destination Management Companies (DMCs) from around the world, specifically serving the Australian and New Zealand travel trade. I am here to act as your Australian based destination desk.

No. We are a representation company. We do not hold inventory or add margins to DMC pricing. We provide the connection, assurance, and operational support, while the commercial transaction remains directly between the agent or operator and the DMC.

Trade Hub Command Centre

The Trade Hub is your command centre for destination management. This secure portal centralises operational due diligence, financial tools, and standardisation resources to streamline your workflow.

It is designed to support professional travel designers and wholesalers by providing a transparent environment for risk management and project planning.

The Trade Hub provides verified partners with access to four primary operational pillars:

  • DMC Vetting Index Access complete "Entity Identity" dossiers. These profiles focus on critical risk management data, including Public Liability Insurance (PLI), Health and Safety protocols, Sustainability standards, and Local Registrations.
  • Sample Itinerary Vaults Browse sample itineraries designed to provide creative inspiration for tailored travel experiences. These are examples to give ideas and all can be completely tailored for everything from large groups to FIT. Note: while some provide pricing benchmarks, others serve as inspiration where you can request bespoke quotes based on current requirements.
  • DMC Project Builder A handy briefing tool that helps you generate professional project briefs for our DMCs. By selecting a partner and inputting client requirements, such as budget, pacing, and specific interests, the tool produces a structured, "email ready" brief for you to copy and paste directly to the DMC.
  • Financial Toolkit A helpful strategic guide providing insights and guidance regarding foreign currency hedging, designed to help you understand how to navigate exchange rate volatility and protect your booking margins.

Commercials & Transformation

Beyond sourcing, we act as an operational extension of your team. When you choose to book through an Altura partner, we save you significant administrative time by transforming raw DMC quotes into high quality sales assets:

  • Client Ready PDFs: Professionally branded and formatted in your specific brand voice.
  • System Ready Copy Decks: Clean text and data formatted for error free loading into your CMS or booking system.

Note on Branding: Should you decide to utilise the Transformation service for a future booking, you can simply visit the "Onboarding" section in the portal to upload your brand guidelines. This is a one time setup that ensures all future documentation we produce for you is perfectly aligned with your agency's style.

No. You receive the exact same NETT B2B rates as booking direct with the DMC. Altura represents our partners to provide brand awareness, credibility, and market growth within the ANZ trade. This allows us to provide local representation and the Quote Transformation service at no additional cost to you.

Payments are made directly to the DMC partner. Methods are determined between the two partners and may include secure global payment platforms or direct telegraphic transfer. Quoting and invoicing currencies are also decided between partners to suit operational needs, including local or major trade currencies. Altura does not add margins to the DMC pricing.
